CampsScreening & outreach

A fair amount of eye disease is found by going out and looking for it.

Glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy in particular cause no symptoms until they are advanced, which means the people who most need checking are usually the ones who feel perfectly fine.

That is what the camps and screenings are for.
